Nate began his career at the Colorado logistics center for a major transportation company, gaining unparalleled experience in the transportation space while also establishing himself as a respected entrepreneur. He then ran the Colorado market center for Aramark and started Purexpo, a niche transportation and logistics company.

In 2010, he founded Well States Healthcare, selling Purexpo to the largest family-owned transportation company in the United States while staying on as a regional director.

In 2013, Nate left Purexpo to focus on growing Well States. In 2015, he sold the company to a private equity fund while remaining president and COO of the parent company.

Nate graduated magna cum laude from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Director of Operations

Heather oversees the day-to-day operations of Well States Healthcare (WSHC), helping the company manage significant personnel and operations growth across the United States. She was one of Well States’ original employees, starting as the sole administrator and helping to manage nearly every facet of the business, including spearheading the complete overhaul of the Well States training manual.

Prior to WSHC, Heather spent nine years with a small IT company in Arlington, Virginia, where she progressed from administrative assistant to marketing manager. Heather’s career has been punctuated by opportunities to directly oversee and contribute to growth and expansion.

Heather graduated from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor of Arts in communications. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her sons play hockey, spending time with family, and listening to music.

Scott White

IT Manager

Scott is passionate about utilizing business intelligence and data to provide better decision-making tools. He brings to Well States Healthcare more than 20 years of extensive administrator experience in IT, database architecture, software development, and ETL process development.

As IT manager, Scott provides technology insights; proposes and implements IT applications, BI, and reporting solutions; manages third-party development and IT staff; defines software product requirements; and oversees all implementations and product support. Previously, Scott has co-founded and led technology operations for various healthcare organizations.

Scott is a certified PACS administrator (FUJI and Intelerad), RIS administrator (FUJI), PowerScribe 360 administrator, HL7 developer and integration specialist, and a member of the Colorado Springs Technology Incubator and South Colorado .NET User Group. In his spare time he enjoys fly-fishing and woodworking.

Jackie Williams

Jackie Williams

Administrative & Collections Manager

With a talent for administration and a track record for managing effective teams, Jackie oversees the statusing and collections group at Well States Healthcare, as well as manages the underwriting process for bulk accounts receivables. She also works closely with the company’s corporate counsel to handle larger legal issues.

Previous to her role at Well States, Jackie was a project manager for Retail Merchandising Solutions, where she managed 45 team members, handled all staffing requirements, and provided ongoing administrative support to division management. While there, she achieved a continuous successful completion rate of over 95 percent on new-item placement for seven years in Safeway and Albertsons stores.

Jackie holds a real estate license in Colorado and was an associate broker for The Property Resource in that state for seven years.

When she’s not working, she likes to read, bowl, play board games, go hiking, and spend time with her family.
