WELL STATES HEALTHCARE
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. – Well States Healthcare (WSHC), a market leader in providing fast, global medical liens for victims of automobile accidents and traumatic personal injury, today announced its merger of all operations of Sun Valley Surgical (SVS) in Mesa, Arizona as part of its larger growth strategy across the region. Since 2013, Sun Valley Surgical has provided thousands of injury victims throughout Arizona with access to orthopedic surgeons and surgical facilities. Over the past four years, WSHC has likewise continued to expand across Arizona, today working in partnership with nearly 600 providers around the state. Integrating the surgical expertise of SVS with the footprint and administrative capability of Well States Healthcare will continue to ensure that injury victims have seamless access to the largest network of medical lien care in Arizona.
“The roll up of Sun Valley Surgical is a reflection of our larger brand strategy in Arizona, as we build a comprehensive network of medical practitioners and surgical and orthopedic facilities,” said Nate Ormond, president of WSHC. “Today we operate the largest network of any medical lien provider in Arizona, treating accident and personal injury victims with four times as many surgeons and ten times as many surgical facilities. As we streamline our service offering with the integration of SVS, we can better ensure attorneys and their clients receive the full spectrum of medical care as they navigate the legal process.”
Through its robust network, WSHC connects patients to specialists across a variety of fields including neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, MRI and diagnostic imaging, chiropractic care, physical therapy, pain management and primary care. The company’s proprietary Atlas Customer Portal offers attorneys transparency and insight into a patient’s medical treatment as they manage the legal claims process, while its RediGo feature makes it easy to request immediate decisions on courtesy reduction requests. With the integration of Sun Valley Surgical, now all patients in the Arizona region will have access to the benefits of the portal and RediGo feature.
Sun Valley Surgical merged with Well States Healthcare effective September 1, 2019. Any scheduled SVS patients will be contacted by WSHC to facilitate the transfer of their procedure to approved facilities in the area.
